USYK has NOT been granted EXTENSION

Usyk could give up all the belts,let them scatter,let others fight for them and claim them,but even with a belt around them Usyk would still be seen as the Champion. Parker v Usyk is fine Kabayel v Usyk is fine however Itauma v Usyk is not fine. Turki might have all the money and basically be controlling things but that does not mean he is making all the correct decisions ! Like others I’d like to see Usyk retire but the money it seems is to good to walk away from .

 

And yet you know that if Usyk doesn't fight Ituama, they are going to say Usyk ducked Ituama, Usyk retired to avoid Ituama, etc.

The keyboard critics will find a Nino Valdez for Usyk's Marciano. Doesn't matter if it's Parker, Kabeyal, Ituama, or other. It has been implicated on here already that Usyk ducked Joyce, Wilder, Zhang and Hrgovic, and you honestly can't get any dumber than that, as Usyk could probably literally beat any two of them on the same night.

 

Turki may be looked back on like the guy who buys a football team and then starts telling the manager how to coach the team.

I think they gave him an ( indefinite ) extension but want to keep it as silent as possible to prevent the worldwide s**tstorm . So the tactic is now to keep it quiet until people forget a bit , some grass grows over it .

I think ukraine paid them well ...

 

Maybe they started negotiating, WBO giving them a bit more time to see if it passes.

I personally think they have unofficially granted an exception, but Usyk's team haven't provided the info so they are kind of stuck.

They saw how much everyone criticized the IBF for stripping Usyk and don't want the bad publicity, but also want to follow their own rules.
