Longest Knockout Streaks In Boxing - All Time

Iglesias moves up to now tied for 6th place with Riku Masuda, Kemahl Russell, and Joshuah Lupia with his 8th consecutive stoppage (but an iffy one) against Vlad Shishkin.

 

Euri Cedeño Martínez looks to elbow his way up into the current 6-way tie for 8th place with a sixth consecutive stoppage when he faces Willie Jones tonight, headlining a BXNGTV PPV.

 

Inoue is out of the running, streak snapped... stupid little Uzbek runner!

 

Checking in on this list, 4½ months since making it...

• Naoya Inoue had his streak broken by Akhmadaliev (and then also went the distance with Picasso, so he's at two non-stoppages in a row).
  
• Riguccini remains at first place but hasn't fought since I made this thread in August. His most recent kayo is still the one in July over previously Jesús Salvador Correa Pinto (from the beleaguered nation of Venezuela).
  
• Hysa is still #2, narrowing Riguccini's lead slightly with his stoppage of Abel Pesut in October - putting him at 18, two short of Rigu's twenty.
  
• González halted Pinoy southpaw Rhonvex Capuloy in September, giving him #12 and sole occupancy of the number three spot (with Inoue's exit).
  
• Nurmaganbet forced Steven Sumpter to retire on his stool in September, pushing the Kazakh to his 11th stoppage and breaking free of the previous 4-way tie to be the sole 4th place man.
  
• Hiraoka hasn't fought in 16 months, nor Patel in nine months. Murata has been out of action since May but has a fight lined up for February. All three are now tied for 5th with ten straight kayos.
  
• Martínez Rabi saw his streak broken at nine, when he took a UD over Willmank Canonico Brito in October.
  
• The same thing happened to Mason, with his UD over Sam Noakes in November.
  
• Also in November, Nakano was defeated by Ra'eese Aleem - so he's out.
  
• Herrera is facing Ricardo Antonio Núñez this weekend. If he can finish El Cientifico inside schedule, he will join the 5th place tie scrum. For now he remains tied with Silva (nothing scheduled) and Itauma (faces Franklin in a couple of weeks).
  
• Lupia is slotted in with TBA next month, which could pull him away from his 7th-place tie with Russell. They are joined now by Iglesias, who got his eighth consecutive stoppage versus Vladimir Shishkin in September.
  
• Bachkov remains at seven kayos, as does Cieślak. They are joined by Lucero, who stopped Roberto Valenzuela Jr. to nab number 7, Soilybayev who retired Abdullo Kuchkarov, Mercado who sparked Antonio Morán, and Mannu who retired Allan Villanueva - all last month.
  
• Vargas went the distance in a UD victory over Jonathan Montrel in November, so he's done.
  
• Masuda took a 5th round technical decision over José Miguel Calderón Cervantes in November, so he's out of the running.
  
• Cedeño Martínez got his sixth in September against Luis Eduardo Flores, as did Kiwitt with Ifrain Alcantara. Turner got his in December against Mohammed Shamim, and Satô against Félix Alvarado.
  
• Kunimoto's run was capped at five, as he beat Nuri Ye via SD in October. Cruz's was as well, as he has two UD victories since August.
  
• Yordan is still at five, inactive since September of 2024. Tsutsumi has fought more recently but not since last August, and so is still tied for tenth place. Kabayel, unlike his small Asian peers, has an immiment chance to pull ahead when he takes on Damian Knyba this Saturday.
