Youth? Wardley is 30, 31 in a few months.

Parker has been outclassed by three Brits and this could be the next.

I can see Parker losing this one purely because he has been completely frozen out of a title shot by Usyk. There are only so many live contenders you can fight before one of them gets the W. Wardley isn't that good, but his crude style could be a nightmare for Joe.

Wardley is in his physical prime and unlike Parker hasn't been in a ton of tough fights to take a toll on his mind and body.

Also to suggest that Whyte "outclassed" him is an overstatement

The obvious answer to that is, absolutely nothing. I'm surprised WBO president, Gustavo Olivieri, wasn't dancing with Usyk in that clip. Absolute clown show!

Come on now. It was a classy headbutt from Whyte that turned the fight.

lol according to Parker he's in the best shape he has ever been in and is a better boxer. I don't really agree with him because he's always been mediocre and has only got by against old men in low volume walkarounds

You underestimate how bad his S&C was before, its actually a minor miracle he became a champ at all with how bad it was.

Why would Fabio's team consider this fight? Parker is the overwhelming favorite and Fabio is up for a title shot if he sits still for a year or so.

Yeah I don't get it either. The only thing I can think of is that Wardley has genuine belief in himself, he has never lost ever and won every fight against more skilled boxers that he was supposed to lose against.

Or maybe Ben Davison thinks he has a foolproof gameplan to beat Parker, or he is testing out his Parker gameplan for an eventual match between Parker and Itauma.

Parker is in the best shape, form and headspace of his career. His recent form demonstrates that.

Perfect fight for Parker, in my opinion. He really loves these fights against big punchers that he knows he can outbox. I can see him easily completing the job that Huni couldn't. Surprised Wardley wants it, but fair play to him.

I assume you are referencing to Zhang and Wilder, which is funny, because they both prefer a slow paced low volume fight. Parker beat them at their own game.

What weight do we think Parker is going to come in at? He looks like he has just been adding more lean mass, not sure if thats the way to go but I wouldn't be surprised if he was close to 270lbs.
