It's impressive he fought 28 times in under 2 years going 10 rounds 3 times during that period.

For me its up there with the most impressive things that have happened in boxing. That run was incredible. Pretty much cleaned out the division in 2 years. Battered established guys at 19 years old at heavyweight. Fighting guys with 17 days inbetween fights. Tillis and green. 17 days between them.

Fought marvin frazer then 21 days later batters jose ribalta 21 days after that he beats up ratliff who,s got a 21 and 3 record at the time at 19 years old prior to destroying berbick.

After berbick within a year period he goes on to batter most of the division at 21 years old. 6 guys in one year who had a combined record of 181 wins between them with 4 losses.

You could probably criticise tyson and d,mato on a human level but on say a boxing level....particularly that run up to say bruno....its pretty foolish imo.

Tyson improved in the two years between those fights. Also, Green was 6-5 with a big reach and able to tie Tyson up. Spinks was naturally smaller, with limited mobility by that point and Tyson easily reached him.
