Seems to be the rumour today, for next month.

Nice in-house fight for the Warrens to arrange but suggests Usyk isn't taking the WBO mandatory.

Suspect Wardley is out of his depth here but Joyce proved Parker is stoppable so you never know.

Good fight. Parker should outbox him all night. If/when Wardley hurts him, he needs to keep him hurt.

    Parker points.

Wardley not long through yet another hard fight - I say this every time he fights now but this'll be the one that's a bridge too far

Parker was rocked by Jack Massey. He didn't really outbox Hughie Fury, Ruiz, Takam, Cojanu etc. Wilder new threw a punch and he didn't outbox Zhang, just had better fitness. He couldn't outbox Whyte, Joyce, or Joshua.

If Jack Massey is rocking Parker then he will sure as hell be rocked by Wardley who is a hellacious puncher.

It won't bud. He will be knocked out by Fabio Wardley who is the toughest man i've ever met. An absolute nutcase of a bloke.

Parker should outbox him. Wardley is quite obvious in the way he goes about things, so against someone who can time opponents and counter, Parker should rack up the rounds. Obviously, Wardley has a punchers chance.

The worry I have for Parker is that he has put weight on since the Zhang and Wilder fights and we don't know how this will effect him. The Bakole fight told us nothing. If Wardley puts it on Parker, Parker could potentially fade late.

Great fight on paper. A lot of people writing Wardley off but he's young and fresh. Parker has been in many battles. Maybe it's a passing of the torch type fight.

Wardley only a puncher's chance here. Like he is against anybody of quality.

Huni boxed Wardley's ears off for 9 rounds. Parker will do it for 12.

Parker should outbox Wardley to a points win or maybe late stoppage on damage as Fabio’s face gets busted quite easily. I wouldn’t be surprised though if Wardley comes from behind again and clips him.

Wardley has enough power to keep Parker honest. On paper it should be a clear win for Parker but you cannot write off Wardley for obvious reasons.

Parker has a chance of carving out a real legacy for himself if he can continue cleaning up the rankings as he has done so far.

Its probably the best fight available for both guys so fair play.

Was hoping Wardley’s last opponent would get the rematch. He boxed very well and got too relaxed. Didn’t they put a complaint in about the way the ref waved it off without giving him a chance. Aka, making sure the home fighter who is losing massively wins. Did anything come of that?

Parker is a top HW at the moment but behind Usyk its a poor division. Its a good fight for both to take at this point, Fabio is a warrior and so is Joe its a good payday for both and a loss for either really wont do them any damage as both would come again and still get big fights.
I see a Parker UD in a none spectacular fashion.
Better fight in the grand scheme of things than a tick over to see what happens with Usyk. As a boxer in the HW division atm activity will be key to stay sharp waiting for the belts to become available. Whoever wins this most likely fights Itauma for the vacant WBO.

Nothing came of it and no rematch. Wardley wouldn't have wanted to risk it with Huni again. He knew he got out of jail.

Parker is the Interim WBO champion and Usyk's mandatory challenger. I would have thought he has everything to lose against Wardley.

This is better than sitting around waiting for the Usyk fight imo, I also think Wardley could make this an interesting fight. Personally I'm not sold on this Parker 2.0 being much better than he was previously tbh.

Thing is, is he better than Wardley? Let's not forget Huni toyed with Wardley for 9 rounds.
