Ged Bird arrested

Just seen on Fox Sports news chn that he is to appear in court mid october.

Personally i cant shy away from what happened to Birds former Teammate Tevita Latu who was de-registered from the nrl for his assault on a female.

Just because this guy is a higher profile player shouldnt change the outcome on the NRL'S behalf.

Greg Bird should be spending christmas in jail.

This is even worse then the Latu thing because he used a weapon.

Stuart and Zappia wont stand for this and if they did I would be extremely disapointed.
Bird has displayed a pattern of behaviour, not just an odd incident, he has got to go if all allegations prove true.

 

Because of his facial injuries it was deemed i went past the point of self defence.

I threw no more then 3punches.He had to recieve reconstructive surgery to his nose and cheekbones.I had to pay for that aswell.

The whole incident made me want to belt him even worse.His parents were the main problem.He wanted the charges on me dropped but his parents wanted me to go to jail for life.

All in all it sucked ass but luckily i dont have a adult criminal record.
The assault charge doesnt come up as i was a juvenile.

 

Never liked Bird, ever since he deliberately kneed a Souths player in the head in 2004.
I said he should have been thrown in the cell there and then. They'll listen to me now.

 

Didnt Canberra run riot of the bunnies in the second half yesterday. Souths were really pissing me off cause i had a fullcard riding on the outcome, nevertheless all ends sweet

Ordinary 2nd half yesterday, and canberra lifted when they were up against it.

If we can beat the Roosters this Friday night it will be a great way to end the season.

He glasses his misses whilst his flatmate is at a charity golf day. He then tells the hospital staff that his flatmate did it, before messaging his flatmate saying 'I told the police you did it. Is that alright with you?' Umm. Sure. I'd love to do up to 25 years for you Greg -- what flatmate wouldn't? By the way, it might have slipped your mind, but I've got about 100 alibis at this golf day...

Idiot! And then he messages his flatmate while he's in an interview with the cops! Unbelievable.

 

He was stalking Lara Bingle back when she first came on the scene, and sending her lewd SMS messages.
