It's not bad, but you really need to find out about Ezzard Charles.

For starters, he's 3-0 (1) against Archie Moore when both were pretty much in their primes.

Sam Langford of course is another man to learn more about. He's a guaranteed top 5 IMO.

All the fighters you listed are undeniable greats though.

I agree with Silvermags that Duran is too high and I would'nt have Roy Jones in my top 10 at all, now if I were making a list of the most talented boxers of all time Roy would be number 1 on that list.

Whitacre, Jones, leanord, and Chavez are way too ****ing high! how much research time and thought went into this list historically, considering oppponents, era, research? looks like you thought and came up with 10 you are familiar with., These lists deserve more research thought and work. here are some names

Joe Louis, Ezzard Charles, Willie Pep, Benny leanord, Sam Langford, Joe Gans, Gene Tunney,

    Pep over Whitacre
    Louis over Chavez
    Ezzard Charles over Jones
    Benny leanord over Sugar leanord

In between not bad and horrible... some names shouldn't be there, others are too high, and some names that should be there aren't.

Horrible. Neither Whitaker nor Chavez nor Jones should be in the top10. Chavez also should be above Jones. Greb is far too low, look at his resume. Duran, Leonard, Ali and Moore are too high. Where are Ezzard Charles and Sam Langford? Mickey Walker anyone? Why is there no Bob Fitzsimmons or Barney Ross? What about Benny Leonard, Barbados Joe Walcott or Willie Pep?

Would be better if it looked more like this:

    1. Ray Robinson
    2. Harry Greb
    3. Henry Armstrong
    4. Sam Langford
    5. Muhammad Ali
    6. Ezzard Charles
    7. Mickey Walker
    8. Roberto Duran
    9. Benny Leonard
    10. Barney Ross
