One of the worst Olympic robberies ever

anther absurd one happened to Holyfield. Was disqualified for nothing, when he was looking the best there by a mile and had knocked out every opponent.

The facts are easy enough to find but clearly you are either too lazy to look or just plain too ignorant.

That gold medal came at a heavy cost to Park. He was vilified in his own country, fell into depression, never fought again and made attempts on his own life.

If he had his time again, Park would likely have preferred the judges did their jobs properly and awarded Jones the decision. It would have saved Park a whole lot of grief.

Holyfield's robbery was against Kevin Barry. Barry would go on to become Joseph Parker's longtime trainer.

Fenech got robbed at the LA Olympics too, remember.

Fenech was initially awarded the win. Then the Olympic Boxing Committee intervened and the decision was reversed. Many of the other boxers and the press felt Fenech was robbed.

Fenech had his revenge of sorts a couple of years later when he fought the gold medalist Steve McCrory in the pros and won nearly every round before stopping him.

Nonsense. The medal belongs to the korean, robbery or not. That's how boxing works.

I never liked RJJ, he never knew how to accept defeat and he cried for years because of that gold medal, get over it and move on, but he couldn't...

Aww..... an internet tough guy..... Ooooo, I'm going to tell someone to shut up instead of just ignoring a comment that no one is forcing me to read.........lol.

Hey lil lady....... Once you get out your emotions understand this, comprehension is a tool that the rest of us adults try to lean on when we have exchanges with other adults. If you took what I said as a negative, then try opening books that don't come with stickers and/or coloring pages.

I pointed out that the gesture was honorable, but also that it would have been nice to have seen him doing it earlier in life. I don't care what you think most western fighters would have done.... I am addressing just this situation.

So, you scapegoat for not having any resources to validate your claims of his mental state is to call me "too lazy".

That's not how it works chick. You stated someone that you push as factual because you don't like my OPINION of the timing. If I'm as ignorant as you claim I am, why is it you can't educate me. And you can't do that by just stating claims and expect a stranger online who knows nothing about your character and how honorable you are to just take your word for it.

Provide a link that talks about his struggles. How the hell did you get so emotional and defensive when I'm ASKING you to educate me. The gold medal came at a heavy cost.........HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS...... Show me so that I can know as well. If you can't do that, then ignorant my comments at the very least because I am going to stand on what I said based on the information I have. I don't need another chick ranting at me because they don't agree with an opinion I stated on a subject that doesn't even effect her, one bit. I have an ex-wife that already holds that spot in my life.

A meaningless movement, the truth is that the one winning this medal was the korean guy, robbery or not. He can give the medal to me, if he wants to, but it will not make me an olimpic champion nor it will mean anything at all.

Just propaganda, I wonder if he was paid to do so, as other poster has also wondered in previous comments too.

The result is that RJJ will have at home a medal that he didnt win. Everytime he looks at the medal, he will know he didnt win it. It makes no sense.
