Williamson is a good domestic pro and this Dickinson lad certainly looked like he needed another few fights before fighting someone at Troy's level.

 

I heard a few weeks ago Williamson signed some sort of deal with IMG models. Any truth to that?

 

Random thoughts having just caught up:
/ The ring announcer is not the best
/ Barker and his “Ohh” for every clean shot is just annoying
/ The girls fight should’ve been on the before the bell
/ What a fight Williamson fought, as echoed previously, really pleased for him, even if I barely understood a word of his post fight interview
/ Apart from the fake accent and the fact that he’s called Sunny and not Sonny, I quite like Sunny Edwards on commentary

 

It is quite incredible people pay Sam Jones actual money to manage them.

 

There’s got to be something dodgy (MTK style) with it because what do you actually get? He’s obviously clueless about boxing and is thick as fck so it’s not like he’s brilliant at the contractual side of things or anything. Essentially you’re paying for YouTube videos with Koogz & Parsons.

 

Jones is more interested in throwing fighters in at the deep end in order to gain plaudits himself on Twitter (“good to see a manager matching his fighters tough”).

 

Adam Smith does my fruit in but I quite like Edwards commentating at least hes got some idea of what's actually going on and isn't a Matchroom cheerleader.
