Why is Parker such a heavy favourite over Wardley?

I don't see struggling against Huni as a mark against Wardley, because I didn't expect him to beat Huni anyway. I thought that was a 50-50 fight going in. I have always liked Parker and I suppose I would favour him over Wardley, but Wardley might turn out to be his toughest fight for a while - and yes an upset is very possible. That's why it's worth watching.

I'd rather see Wardley v Itauma.
But it is good to see Parker defending his position against someone young and undefeated, instead of just sitting on his ranking waiting for Usyk to sign a contract or give up a belt.

Triangle theories are flawed in boxing.

I mean Parker is on a good run, in his prime and most importantly a very good, proven fighter.

Wardley isn't as proven as he has shown flaws already, and can be outboxed badly at times against someone in Huni that isn't on Parker's level. Wardley is basically most likely going to have to rely on his big KO punch, and Parker has fought and beaten fighters just like Wardley who packs great power in Zhang, and Wilder - so Parker has the perfect experience for this type of fight. And lets face it, Zhang and Wilder are a lot more accomplished too than Wardley.

With that said, I think Wardley will drop Parker but Parker will get the decision here.

No one said Wardly was going to outbox him. You are confusing people saying Wardley could catch him to Wardley somehow outboxing him. Parker getting dropped late isn’t out of the realm of possibility. He’s been drop in the last few fights.

Wardley is a flat footed bum

He hits hard WHOOPTY DO. Parker has a vibranium chin.

Again so damn what. Hitting hard means squat in this art. Ask Zhang. Ask Wilder. Ask AJ.

The ones who rule the roost are not punchers.

it looked to me that Wardley really showed his level in that Huni fight. If Parker can start to land as well as Huni was (and im confident he can) it will be an early night.

Parker has a good chin but he has been hurt and dropped numerous times. Wardley can defo hurt Parker for sure.

That said I'm still confident Parker will beat Wardley.

The only person confuse on here is you. Upsets happens , unless you are saying an underdog can’t win. If you are saying that then the only confused person on here is you.

    Lmao, level son.

You apparently can’t comprehend a boxer punching chance , especially at heavyweight.

That's the logial outcome and it is reflected by the odds offered by the betting agencies. They are offering plenty on a Wardley win to encourage bets on him.
