How dominant could MM have been at Cruiserweight?

And how could these fights have gone?

    Moorer V Holyfield
    Moorer V Usyk
    Moorer V Haye

Loses to Holyfield by mid rounds KO.

Loses to Usyk. (Likely by late stoppage)

Slight favorite over Haye. But, either man might get stopped.

I actually see Haye winning tbh mate.
Think his chin holds up and Moorers let's him down.
    The other picks spot on.

In his own time, MM would have dominated cruiser.

Moorer would do well vs Holyfield as he did in his own time. Holyfield could likely win a decision.

Moorer would do well vs Usyk too. A right handed southpaw with excellent power in his right hook. Moorer is way better than the two southpaws Usyk did beat - Glowaki and Mnchunu.

Moorer's southpaw jab would cause Usyk issues as Moorer is naturally right handed with a very powerful jab. Usyk can take away the orthodox jab vs most fighters but it will be very hard for him to take away a more powerful jab than his own. Not to mention Moorer's powerful lead right hook would cause Usyk issues. Ultimately, i think Usyk is way too good and would win a competitive decision but it won't be easy.

    Moorer-Haye is a 50-50 fight.

People are grossly underrating Moorer here. Peak Moorer was a very good fighter.

Three Ls. He wasn’t on that level.

I think Moorer would have made a very good cruiserweight but I’m not sure how he does against those specific guys

Haye could go either way, but yes, 3 Ls is very possible here.

I actually like his chances against Holyfield the most because he might take his power and repeat the result of their first fight. I don’t think he’d hold up against Haye’s speed and power.

Was a pity Moorer did go to cruiser after LHW seemed at natural move and he would of dominatied at that point . He Was chasing the big dosh at HW which is fair enough.

Moorer WAS the Tyson of the Cruiserweights, going something like 28-0 with all 28 by ko.

But his competition was questionable..Mario Melo??? A fight wth Holyfield at that weight or at least Carlos De Leon (who should be in the HOF based on achievements alone) would have told us more about this era of Moorer's career.

If Manny Steward decided to move Michael Moorer up to cruiserweight in 1991 and put off the ascension to heavyweight, then I think he would have absolutely dominated that era of cruisers. We might have seen him against guys like Bobby Czyz, Anaclet Wamba, Orlin Norris, Alfred Cole, Masimiliano Duran, Nate Miller, Robert Daniels, Kenny Keene, etc…. These of course wouldn’t have been the best headliners for fans but we would have seen some spectacular knockouts and it would have been a safer and easier division for Moorer to dominate
