Who won the fight, Canelo or Bud?

Canelo once again gives rounds away early BUT large reason Crawford has a great boxing IQ and the judges thankfully called it correctly.

 

I meant to vote Bud

Come on. I had Nelo taking an early lead and still had a clear TC score card by the end.

Just clearly out-boxed Canelo the entire time. Canelo had to rough Bud up and bully him and he couldn't. Bud took Canelo's shots better than Canelo took Bud's.

 

Crawford schooled Canelo. Masterclass.

The fact this is even up for debate is astonishing. This place makes me laugh.

 

It's worth noting R1 one the closest rounds and a lot of people gave it to Canelo.

So unless you gave Canelo all the close rounds in the fight can't see it.

I had Canelo just edging it. I wonder how much the fact that people thought Canelo was just going to run through Bud played into people's opinions: because the fight was competitive did people give extra credit to Bud? I agreed with the punch stats (which I know are not a good way to score a fight but neither guy was knocked down or knocked out and it was competitive so punch stats probably tell quite a bit) and they had Canelo winning more rounds. The biased commentary didn't help either. But I wonder if once the whole aura of the fight has worn off if people will view it differently. I'll rewatch in a few days and see if I still think Canelo won.
