Takada is half Japanese and half Pinoy, born on Luzon island and grew up with his Filipina grandmother before moving to Japan in older childhood. Lost in a junior high school amateur tournament against Junto Nakatani.

Matsumoto, the southpaw in red, comes in undefeated and with a slew of amateur titles and lots of domestic buzz. He started boxing competitively when he was just four years old.
