Mauricio vs. Dana, 12 rounds, boxing rules, 8oz gloves, let's do it!

Just finished watching it. Scorecards way too close, Canelo never got going.

Any elite boxer who can implement a very simple tried and tested game plan vs this badly faded version of Clenelo, yes

Scull isn't even elite and he almost achieved it for goodness sake

Canelo proved his chin again. because a number of times Crawford’s shots visibly stopped him in his tracks. I thought there was a possibility Crawford would cut him and he did some visible eye damage. At some stage in the fight you could see on Canelo’s face the surprise that Crawford was so physically strong and his shots hard.

For me this was an always competitive but clear victory for Crawford. I've just watched it 'as live' without knowing the winner and I thought once Bud tasted Canelo's power he relaxed and settled into a groove he didnt need to come out of. Canelo looked dejected and beaten after the tenth and I honestly think if hed have chosen to press the fight and really go for it, Bud might have stopped him. I didnt score it but my feeling was that Bud won by at least four rounds and more importantly looking at is as a fight, he always looked like he was winning. He fought as he pleased, was strong get in the clinches, more accurate from range and in the infighting and it is to Canelos credit that he stayed 'live' for the whole fight.

I suspect when I sit and score it I'll have Bud a wider winner. A great performance and seeing two of my favourite fighters in the ring and one of my favourite all time winning was great. No need for a rematch unless its a retiral fight...maybe, whisper it, at light heavyweight if Canelo can win a portion of that...?

Kellerman and Ward were very poor here, as a side note

Need to rewatch but I had Canelo winning 8 - 4. Moving and looking slick is good but it doesn’t win rounds on its own.

    Just finished watching

A deserved win for Crawford and I'm happy to have been proven wrong
However Netflix were awful and I never want to hear Kellerman again

Crawford boxed very, very well and I think won by 2 rounds, 3 at a push

It wasn't a masterclass, it was a pretty disciplined proformance for the most part

Canelo realised that if he rolled the dice and come in recklessly Crawford would stop him.

I had it wide for Crawford. I think 116-112 was to generous to Canelo as I cannot make a case for giving him more than 2 rounds maybe 3 at a stretch.
