Baer would be a modern day super heavyweight that could punch. Could he bounce Frazier around the ring or does Frazier overcome the size difference

I can't get Buddy's rematch with Louis out of my head. The way Buddy's head was getting bounced around reminded me of one of those paddles with the ball and a string. With that lack of defense, he has no chance here. Frazier emphatically overcomes the size difference. Buddy didn't really use his reach at all. Frazier wins this one in a slaughtering IMO.

Baer has many of the same tools Foreman had

You mean arms and legs? I don't think Buddy's worked as well. The distance between Foreman and Baer is kind of hard to even put into words.

Baer had even greater size than Foreman, equal strength and punching power

Baer had the weight height advantage, could hit hard.
He's got the ability to hurt guys, but Frazier is on another level.
Once Joe gets inside, starts finding the range with that left hook, then Buddy is getting hurt.
Frazier by ko round 6 .

Baer had a high KO ratio, but so did Don "Man of" Steele. He just doesn't look like much on film. I wouldn't even want to see him in there with Frazier. I think I'd rather see him in there with a guy like Ken Lakusta, just to see if that silky smooth, Mayweather-like shoulder roll that Buddy uses would be sufficient defense against Ken's flailing right hands. I envision Buddy grinding out a UD in that one. B. Baer-Frazier OTOH, would be painful to watch.

Frazier stoppage. Poor Buddy is appearing in more fantasy h2h matches then he ever should. In what year of Fraziers career would you envision Buddy finding himself ranked in the top 10?

Baer would have been top 10 in the late 60s and early 70s. Why wouldn't he?

Trying to think when he would push out. Maybe someone like Peralta? Or Urtain? Beyond that I wouldn’t count on it. Could be wrong but I don’t hold Buddy in very high regard as a high level heavyweight.
