It's not historically impossible. Henry Armstrong, much smaller than Crawford, started at bantamweight and beat middleweights.

Langford started at welterweight and beat heavyweights.

Billy Conn started at lightweight like Crawford, and moved up through the weight divisions and was winning against ATG Joe Louis until the last round.

I would like to see Crawford fight at least a light heavyweight, someone with skills like Bivol, not a faded, blown-up light middleweight like Canelo.

He knocked Gamboa out. Usyks best win got off the canvas and won a split decision over an mma fighter on his debut. Fury couldn't even dominate Steve Cunningham and got put on his ass by the cruiserweight, so Usyk beating him shouldn't have been a surprise.

Usyk is not above Pacquiao or even Mayweather. Him being above Crawford is debatable and he has 0 greats on his resume. Roy has 2, is a 4 weight champion. Beat the likes of Hopkins, Toney, McCallum, Hill, Johnson, Gonzalez, Woods, Ruiz, Tarver. His win column is better than Usyks.

If Crawford beat someone like Bivol he would have to be above Usyk

That dude said Crawford would need to clear cruiserweight and Bridgerweight to be comparable to Usyk. This is recency bias. Usyk is not even above Pacquiao and Mayweather

Canelo is 5ft 7 , that is small for a super middleweight.

Put it this way. Bud moving up to beat Canelo is not in anyway, shape or form comparable to Usyk going to up to heavyweight and beating Fury x2, Joshua x2, Dubois x 2.

    Proof you're just a butthurt TROLL ^.

And Fury knocked out Cunningham. Yet you tried to troll that fight against him lol.

'Usyk beating him shouldn't have been a surprise'' HAHAHA. Tyson Fury was the favourite with ALL bookmakers going into that fight, and beat the ATG Wladimir Klitschko, and was undefeated and is a excellent boxer.

PS. Jones Jr has 10 LOSSES, 5 by KO. Usyk has Zero.

Roy Jones beat 2 greats and plenty of champions and contenders. He has a better resume and virtually all his losses were when he was shot. Fury went life and death with an mma fighter on his debut and has only beaten 5 ranked heavyweights. He doesn't even crack the top 20 heacyweights, Fury is not a great. Fury couldn't carry Canelos jockstrap. I'm not the one having a meltdown here, you made your account today, you're literally an alt. @CooperKupp Coping because Crawford just became the first 3 weight undisputed champion in the 4 belt era. Even Usyk said Crawford is above him.

Mayweather and Crawford aren't greater than RJJ either.

Remember that RJJ shutout Hopkins and Toney.

    Jones was next level.

Usyk for me slightly because whilst I think Crawford has the best win among the two on paper, Canelo's weakness against that particular style makes it not as impressive a win for me as it would be for some. I called Crawford W as soon as the fight was announced. I also don't think having the best win puts you automatically above.

I wouldn't argue if you have Crawford up though or if you think he clears. I see why people might have it that way but I personally don't.

The biggest issue in Crawford's legendary, ATG career is a lack of consistently high profile matches, even if half of it was not his fault (that other half was his refusal to create his own buzz).

While HWs are always overrated compared to awesome small guys, cleaning out an entire generation of cruisers and heavies ON THEIR OWN TURF, mostly at size disadvantage, Huck, Breidis, Gassiev, Bellew, Joshua, Fury, Dubois, all of who were legit threats and many betting favorites, that's a consistent list of superb names.

Bud had Burns, Gamboa, Postol, Horn, Khan, Brook, Porter, Spence, Madrimov and Alvarez, but came on: Spence was always overrated and Alvarez is the sole truly legit elit name. THAT SAID, Clen is BY FAR the best fighter on both fighters resume, it's just everyone else is 2nd hand on Crawford's spotless resume.

I'm going with Usyk but have always called Bud the best fighter on the planet incl. Inoue, Clen & the Ukrainian.

Beating a washed Canelo and a overrated Spence = being better than the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world? Ok

Crawford is a highly skilled fighter. He's also one of the best weight bullies the sport has ever seen - to the point where it's abnormal even among other big cutters imo. Just check some of @Serge posts on Buds weigh in vs fight night weights. This bout is the first time Crawford has actually boxed someone around the same size as him. Check his walk around weight too - over 175lbs despite being a known gym rat who never gets out of shape. Bud has never actually fought someone who is legitimately bigger than him, so it's Usyk for me.

    Usyk for me.

Im sorry but for me, as much as I like him and as high as I rate him ability wise, Crawfords resume is just not that good.
    Imo.

PEDs Bust= Not in the conversation.

Jones can be compared to other proven PEDs cheats, like Holyfield.
