What's stopping Bud from becoming undisputed at 160?

42yo Lara is a top 3 fighter in that division. Maybe Bud got paid too well to care but he could easily become undisputed in 4 divisions if he fought out 160.

Janibek Alimkhanuly. Bud needs to stay away from that monster, Crawford is past his prime and that is a tall task. He needs to milk a Canelo trilogy and then retire.

I don't understand how you can be a 42 year old world champion and be so inactive like Lara. Man he must think his paydays will last forever.

It's a weak division, I'd like to see Crawford face them but stand his crowd and not run like he did against Alvarez.

The Eubank fight would be pretty hyped up if he beats Benn in the rematch and would be a money spinner. Plus, Crawford would school Eubank.

Janibek probably too high risk and low reward for Crawford. Otherwise, the rest of the division is pretty dry.

The biggest issue would be age and the once a year schedule of Crawford.

I can’t see him wanting to fight janibek, if he wanted to be cynical he could fight Lara in Omaha in a homecoming sort of fight then fight Eubank as big money title defence then sail off into the sunset.

Crawford won’t go near Janibek, that’s the perfect example of a high risk but very low reward fight

I doubt Crawford goes anywhere near him because he's not a shot the hell old man who moves like a mummy trapped in quicksand.

Obviously Crawford employed movement against Canelo but I don't think the characterization that he just ran is accurate. He was often in the pocket and at times stood his ground and exchanged. He is too smart to fight flat-footed against an iron chin opponent who can punch.

Crawford as mentioned is up in age now and past his prime, hopefully he retires instead of fighting on,it’d be a crying shame if he stayed active and his career ended like Roy Jone’s did

Wouldn't count out Bud versus any belt holders at 160. What I think will keep him from being Undisputed is time.
