Man, the beating Robinson would have delivered on Canelo

It would be nice if classic was limited to retired fighters. Otherwise every time a current fighter wins there are innumerable threads bordering on the ridiculous.
Take a look at their resumes, and consider the versions of said fighters that are the highlights of each. Crawford is an excellent fighter. The best fighter he beat is a declining but still dangerous Canelo, then a shell shocked Earl Spence, a wrecked Kell Brook, a never was Amir Khan, etc
    Then compare Robinson’s
LaMotta, Basilio, Gavilan, Fullmer, Graziano, Armstrong, Turpin, Fullmer, etc
Then watch them, there is video of Robinson. Does he look like an inactive slug like Alvarez? Is he chinny like Khan? Is he washed like Brook.
Then pick a weight and let them weigh in under the same rules
This thread is disrespectful to both guys, and probably just designed to provoke. I usually ignore these things but
About as good as the ones that cropped up sometime ago with Golovkins vaunted Heavyweight power that somehow deserted him when he fought opponents that fought back
Assess Crawford when he is done, not now.

Amen to that. Imagine if some of these guys were around (with internet) when the late 70's and early 80's were in full cry LOL

Personally I think there should be a separate forum page just for H2H match ups. They massively clog up the front page and stop good information threads getting seen and bumped.

Well, we knew we’d have a lot of these threads come Sunday morning.

Let's just say Walker would have 7 kids to support after he's finished.

At Welter no one beats Robinson . At Middleweight its possible because Robinson at Middleweight went into a Dranesque hit-and-miss period.

Nobody is going to buy into your "boxing evolution theory" in the classic forum.

One of the best replies I’ve ever read. Said so much in so few words, essentially one word really.

Seems to be far more missing links than connections/continuity in this so called Boxing Evolution Theory (BET).

Bad BET? Me thinks so. :D
