    Big John was a bigger deal (and better fighter) than Big Bill, I should think.

    Bill has some nice wins but from all I can figure his size was his biggest thing — a super heavy in the days of 180-pound heavyweights.

    John never recovered from the Mike Weaver loss but he did some things before that, and had clearly outfought Hercules before it all came crashing down in the 15th.
