It was defo a hometown decision. Anywhere else, Paddy would’ve won a landslide on activity alone (Undeservedly). So it’s not a robbery.

I can see 8 rounds for Paddy, but in reality, I don’t think he actually won 8 rounds. With Croc’s 2 knockdowns, Paddy needed 7 to come out with a draw and would get the loss if he won any fewer.

Whilst 6 rounds to Croc is generous, it isn’t inconceivable. Paddy was throwing, yes, but he was shoe shining and hitting mostly gloves in the bigger moments. He fought with zero urgency despite being knocked down twice, so his loss is down to him, and not the judges.

Paddy had 2 chances to beat Croc. The first time, he was winning comfortably, then hit Croc twice after the bell on purpose*. This time, he was down twice and clearly having to play catchup on the cards, but was content to pitter patter to try and steal rounds.

Paddy doesn’t deserve the sympathy, so don’t call it a robbery.

    * - I’m basing this on the fact that the bell sounded before he started to throw the left hand. After that, he paused then threw the right. As soon as that landed and Crocker started falling, he turned and walked back towards HIS OWN CORNER straight away (not a neutral corner as you would in the event of a knockdown). He knew exactly what he was doing.

mate paddy himself has said it was a close fight and has accepted it, it maybe shows you haven’t a clue how to score a fight by saying a landslide for PD, sorry but just honest

Good for him. It’s the fans claiming it’s a robbery that I was addressing.

Again, read what I’m actually saying - I said he would’ve undeservedly won a landslide anywhere else because judges don’t know how to score fights, and they would’ve just given him rounds because he was throwing a lot.

I had Crocker winning by a point.

Out of interest Billy, which rounds did you have Lewis winning? For me I gave him 3, 5 and 9 with obviously two of them being 10-8’s. Results in 115-111 Paddy.

It obviously was a home cooking. Hearn has Conor Benn set up to fight Crocker in Belfast after the Eubank 2 fight. That's a big in house match-room bout that will generate a lot of hype and revenue. But what I will say is that Donovan wasn't convincing enough, did he even rock or have Crocker hurt at any point? I don't know if he was cruising and thought he had the fight won but he should have been more urgent in the latter rounds. After last time he should have learnt that he couldn't afford to leave it solely to the judges.

Round 12: Donovan 23 punches landed vs Crocker 7 punches landed. How do you give Crocker round 12?

I watched your interview on Seconds Out - wish you the best with your health after being in hospital.

    Thank you
Lewis land by far the more effective punches in that round
All this computer scoring is a lot of BS.
There’s no better judge than your own eyes
    Again thanks

Fair enough, Billy. You're riding high at the moment, so congratulations to you for all the hard work over the years. You've been one of the best trainers in the world for donkey's years. I've not heard much about Martin Bakole recently so I am going to make a thread about him. One of my favourite boxers.

See Dylan Moran has retired after being stopped by McKenna again. Correct decision, was a bit of a beating that. At least he's got his London bookshop to fall back on
