He struggled with Lara too. Plant and Saunders aren't even worth mentioning in this conversation. So, you think Mayweather, Bivol and Crawford's movement didn't have a big part in their success?

Im saying this is not a proof that Canelo didn’t get better at handling movement. Just from GGG I to GGG II he drastically improved at cutting the ring and pressuring his opponents on the front-foot. It only got better at 168 when he KO’d tf out of BJS and Plant who were both slippery guys that moved and boxed the whole match.

Mayweather and Crawford beat Canelo at all ranges and Canelo arguably had more success at long range than in close range against them. And Bivol could straight up ignore some of Canelo’s inside tactics due to how much stronger he was. He was taking Canelo’s best shots on his guard without flinching and having him back off with his jabs alone.

One and only common thing Floyd, Crawford and Bivol had was not that they moved well, it was that they could handle Canelo up close as well while keeping their edge at long range.

To be honest, Qawi was truly a tank. Canelo is not quite built like that.

Did you even attempt to read what I said or just jump straight to argument mode...... I literally said that most of Canelo's punches were in attempt to break down Bivol's defense.

Explain to me how what you said is a contradiction and not an addition to my statement.

Well, it isn't proof he got better either. And a big part to Crawford and Bivol's success was their movement, coupled with an educated jab, timing and accuracy. Now, I'll give that Crawford, Bivol and Mayweather are elite and everyone will have trouble with them. Their combined record supports that. So, in reflexion, maybe I am being too harsh on Canelo.

Crawford, he's the smaller man. Canelo is already a small 168, a decently sized LHW beating him is not that impressive to me at all.
