Rest in Peace.

 

One thing you have to say about Hatton, win, lose or draw, the guy always came to fight. He always went down swinging. You can't ask for more than that as a fighter, especially nowadays. Salute to you champ, rest easy.

 

Rest in peace brother, loved watching him fight.

 

I would bet he had CTE, obviously speculation but it’s the same with Jermain Taylor (from my hometown), thank God he hasn’t hurt himself but if he didn’t have the right people around him, he wouldn’t be here. I say that with respect t and love to both men.

Ricky fights in Vegas and Bernard Dunne got me into loving watching pro boxing in a big way. R.I.P Ricky

 

Was stunned when I found out he had passed away, way to young to be gone. He left his mark on the sport and will always be a beloved sporting icon in the UK. Say what you will about Hatton he put himself out there and tested himself against the best available from Tyszu to Pac to Mayweather, he could have easily just milked a belt and made boat loads of cash but instead dared to be great.
