    For all this talk of “Ingo/Patterson lose because of their chins lolz”, Baer has went the distance or even lost to fighters with less than stellar chins. An iron chin definitely wasn’t a requirement to beat him, which again goes back to his relative inability to put his power to use at world-class level.

    Baer was much more durable, far stronger and Ingo was a pro man's Schmeling ...

    Ingo wasn’t quite the boxer Braddock was but he had more power. Baer could knock him for sure but Max didn’t have the skill and anywhere near the speed Floyd had. Ingo would be scoring with the jab and staying away from Baer and periodically dropping Toonder in which could drop Max in spite of his chin. This is a tough one but I say more likely Ingo by decision or even a stoppage.

    Baer may clip him at some point after getting rocked early on himself, the difference is that Baer can take a much better punch.
