Torrez beats Sanchez. Too active, Sanchez hates pressure fighters and he's like 40 years old. Torrez vs Usyk would be interesting but a forgone conclusion, Usyk is too good

I hope this fight gets made, it will be good to see if Torrez has what it takes to hang at the top with the big boys.

I'm leaning towards Sanchez at the moment, he is just a bit more proven, I hope he is healthy for this show down and his leg has recovered though.

It's a decent bit of matchmaking - should suit both well if they can win, and it's not necessarily foregone conclusion who does.

But it shouldn't be an eliminator by a looong way IMHO

Torres is probably the greatest hype job of all time. Sanchez beats him by KO.

I don't see Sanchez winning this fight, Torrez Jr. stops him within five rounds...

TBF they're both hyped way beyond anything they've proven...

But at least we have some idea of where Sanchez sits (low level gatekeeper, at best) Torrez might become something more or he might not even get that far.

At least one bubble should get burst.

Is this a final eliminator or just an eliminator?

Must have missed the hype. Apart from after the sanchez win against ajagba i have never heard anyone talk about any of them as being close to top 10.

Doesn't seem like hype to me...

I like Torrez, I'm not sure he has done enough to be in a title eliminator. I favor him though he is largely not tested

what makes you say that? frank sanchez had no legs in his last fight so he will likely have to stand his ground against a young guy with two fisted power. hes got a suspect chin and hasnt fought in a while. im not saying you are wrong but help me see it man

Good matchup, I hope it happens. I voted Torres though this would be his biggest fight. Gotta find out some time~

I just don't think Torrez's style is a good one for Sanchez. He's shown in the past that hes basically useless against pressure fighters against Kabayel for example. Not sure if the excuse for Sanchez's knee is true but we'll see, if it is true I'm expecting a masterclass in footwork from Sanchez.

No chance in hell this should be an eliminator although it is a good HW match up for both fighters in which it will defo tell us something about both. A complete hype job could very well be exposed here.

As reflected in Sanchez's last fight, I just don't think he'll cope against a talented and somewhat proven enough pressure fighter in Torrez in the long-run but he'll do better than the Kabayel fight - Torrez via late TKO.
