Officially set now for December 6th at the Frost Bank Arena in San Antonio, Texas. Scheduled for 10 rounds in the super lightweight division, where Cruz is the WBC interim champion and Roach will be debuting (moving up from lightweight after his draw in March with then - and maybe still? - WBA champion Gervonta Davis). This is a good fight.
In a fair world, the winner would get a Tank rematch (if he can even be persuaded into the ring again after his Jake Paul payday, that is...) Actually no, in a fair world they'd already have wins over him.
Maybe but even though Roach is more skilled it's not easy to withstand the type of pressure Cruz applies. It's a good match up.
This content is protected A middleweight unification on the undercard of a ten rounder. Sure, okay, nothing matters anymore...
Lara is an Aries, and is the kryptonite to other Aries. He's beaten Michael Zerafa and Danny Garcia, both by stoppage. Virgos are his stumbling block, with Castano and Hurd both beating him. But I have a feeling that Janibek is one Aries bridge too far.
While in theory Roach should be able to get the win here, he is moving up in weight, and a weight that Cruz is probably acclimated to. Not sure he punches hard enough to get Cinderblockhead's respect, so he might be in for a very long night here, with Pitbull taking the win, that is if Roach isn't the one being gifted a decision.
Roach's Achilles heel is someone who can out-box him from range. He's an all inside fighter and is great inside. Pitbull has no choice but to fight inside but he's not skillful when he's inside. Roach UD12. I will say that I would have liked to see him with some other fights at 140-hell even 135 first. He's really a SFW.
Yep moving up his second weight class in as many fights. Could they gift Pitbull the decision to try and downplay Tank not rematching Roach.
