I like to say Wlad has all the tools to win, but if he wasn't allowed to do the crap he did against Povetkin Tyson probably stops him.

 

I think Tyson beats Wlad but loses to Vitali.

But Wlad is great at negating shorter boxers especially in his peak (06-12) could wear Tyson down so it's definitely possible Wlad wins as well.

 

Very tough fight. Tyson isn’t going in with a patsy. He’s dangerous but so is Tyson. Wald didn’t have a granite chin and Tyson was so fast and powerful he catches him and it’s downhill from there. If he could last and tire out Mike like Douglas did he could stop him late but I think more likely the fastest power puncher maybe ever catches Wald and he’s dizzy after that and things go bad to worse.

 

Wlad is way too big and fundamentally sound to "get blasted out" against Tyson.

 

Tyson was levels above Povetkin...

Meanwhile, Wlad is one of the worst fighters for a shortie to go up against. He's like a synthesis of all the traits that gave Tyson problems. I guess Mike has that explosiveness and power going for him, if he can find his way past the ATG jab, past the long straight right, close the distance fast enough, which is like a 100m sprint distance given Wlad's light footwork, and clobber Wlad before he hugs him to death and leans the life out of him. Tall ask.
