Hearn is entitled and not used to not getting his own way. Eubank knows that and uses it to his advantage. Hearn's ego will continue making him a sitting duck for Eubank.
That's why he surrounds himself with simpletons like Koogz, Parsons, Frank Smith, Sam Jones etc. Because they're too thick to think for themselves and he can control them.
Has anyone picked him up yet on moving to Monaco so he doesn’t have to pay as much tax? I notice how he doesn’t give this as a reason why he misses the UK shows when they class with his American shows - because he’s restricted as to how many days he can now spend in the UK before having to pay tax. Always remember over the last few years about his comments about the state of the national such as crime, youth issues, covid, and most things topically which he was always quick to give his ego-filled opinions on BUT suppose he can’t do that now he’s turned his back on his country.
Nah I don't agree. Fair enough if that's what you think. But I feel it reflected badly on Eddie to those who watched the full press conference. He had that in his back pocket to pull out when he was getting interrupted by Eubank and he set the trap. Don't think he was going to say anything about Ricky Hatton at that point until he saw the "opportunity" to use it. I think if you see how he reacted when he did get further interrupted, his reaction was an excited one...like it was a "gotcha" moment. Which proves it for me. Poor form from him using Ricky Hatton's name in that way. That's my opinion Why take it so personally? It's clear to see Jr is right under his skin and making normally "cool" and smooth Eddie, very irritable and reactive. The interview he did after the press conference alongside Ben Shalom is good evidence that he was very much rattled. It's funny. Not many people have Eddie's number in those circumstances but CE Jr does
Great comments on this thread. very entertaining. May succumb to watch the series, but probably just watch the Crawford masterclass again.

Just because a woman settles down doesn't mean she's happy. Some of the most miserable men and women I know have bought into the idea that having a family and settling down will settle all their issues and make them feel like they have a purpose. It depends on the person, she seemed happy enough. But yeah, I definitely wouldn't sacrifice my personal life for Barry Hearn, 100%.
No woman would be miserable getting married and raising children. It's the greatest privilege in the world to do that. So yeah this woman who's dying for Barry Hearn's approval is beyond stupid and she sadly is not in the minority thesedays as there's loads of other idiots like her that are contributing to the decline in the worlds population.
Agree to disagree, I've got plenty of friends who had mothers with serious post-pregnancy issues, a lot of them went on to get divorced and enter these really challenging personal issues where they couldn't get a job because they had no life experience, due to having a family early, and then they're stuck in these custody battles doing menial office jobs living month to month. There are pros and cons to both. I actually prefer career-driven women to those who are subservient, have children, and settle down simply because society pressures them into it. I also know women who are high achievers as well as being mothers; they're not mutually exclusive. However, sacrificing your life for Barry Hearn is absolutely not it, I think we're both agreed on that one.
