This is a sink-or-swim rebound for Agrba, coming directly off his first pro defeat in a shock upset KO loss to Ruben Nestor Neri Muñoz in July:

I'm surprised he's being tossed in with somebody even as (relatively) dangerous as the Namibian, who boasts a 19-2 record with thirteen kayos and held South African prospect Brandon Thysse in a close loss to a SD.

    Shinima is a +830 underdog.

Then again, Agrba was a -5000 favorite over Muñoz. :deal:

After this: an exhibition karate match, then Jalolov vs. Kudukhov, then one more IBA Pro contest, and lastly the co-main events.

    The audience looks bored.

I'm guessing because ...this is boring. :sisi1

I followed Agrba from his pro debut in 2019 on and, like many others, was guilty of hyping him up unduly...I'm not sure how we never spotted signs of the glass jaw & glass heart. He can box & move skillfully enough but in the fight game you need those intangibles...

Commentators doing their best to salvage a bit of dignity for Agrba in this pussyfooting timid performance...

"He's outboxing a man who's been the champion of an entire continent!"

Yes, they actually said that. :sisi1

(Shinima held the WBO African welterweight title for a year)

    And we go the distance.

...man, I had the perfect comment in reserve for if Agrba had gotten KTFO again. :ohno

    "Absolute Shinima "

Commentators think a couple of the judges' cards were too wide but agree Agrba is the deserving winner.
