Makhmudov KO inside 4 rounds for me. I cannot see Allen withstanding the power and the early onslaught, and he is not a spring chicken any more.
It could go either way, and I'd like to see Allen to win. But, I think Makhmudov will overwhelm Allen at somepoint to a TKO. Allen just really isn't great at all both defensively and offensively, he is very hittable and is pretty predictable.
I doubt that Makhmudov is more versatile than Fisher, if Allen managed to knock down and stop Fisher, then he can stop Makhmudov too...
50/50 - should be competitive, so I'm looking forward to it. If really, really pushed I'd probably lean towards Allen, but neither getting the win would in any way surprise me.
The little of what I have seen of Allens training looked lazy ans technically lacking. I was expecting more after his great showing last time. If he doesn't prepare really well he will lose. Makhmudov has more power and offense than Fisher. And more experience. But allen can win it if properly prepared
My heart’s telling me Allen, my head telling me Makhmudov. I think people have gotten a little carried away with Allen after the Fisher fights but he probably gets KO’d in the first few rounds.
Makhmudov on points maybe, he’s much better than Fisher, who’s an area level fighter. That win has flattered Allen in the minds of fans, because Johnny Fisher is a name, but they’re forgetting that he’s not a name because of his ability, it’s because he’s popular in his area, so he brings a lot of fans and he marketed himself well also, well, mainly his dad, but the point is that he’s not popular for his ability, he’s decent to watch which helped also, but limited skill wise.
