This would be a one-sided beating...

CBS is an underrated fighter. I've been saying this for a long time. I predicted his ceiling was world level when many others never gave him a chance of even winning a British title. But he even exceeded my expectations by becoming a world champion and wins over Okolie, Masternek, Glanton, Riakporhe (should be 2 IMO), Chamberlain, McCarthy, among others are very respectable, especially for someone who wasn't even supposed to win a British title, and even though he takes a ton of punishment and has been hurt a few times and has fought a lot of big punchers he's got an excellent chin and has never been dropped

That being said, I can't really blame him for avoiding Jai as he'll take a bad beating, potentially a career ending one given how much punishment he's already taken throughout his career, from Jai. He doesn't hold a belt anymore and if he fights Jai for his one chances are he never will again

Yeah that is straight ducking, asking completely unrealistic numbers is effectively avoiding the fight.

But sure, if Ramirez wants a 8m usd purse, then his team can put the offer together where they think they can get that money, I'm sure Opetaia will take a tiny % of the purse to facilitate that.

Its good to see that Opetaia's team is doing all the right things though, sitting down with Turki and lining up the fights.

Reminds me of Santa Cruz and Rigondeaux. "I am not afraid! Now pay me more money than either of us have earned combined!" I think Santa Cruz might have demanded a purse that was even double that of whatever Donaire´s biggest purse had been at that time.

Damn, I expected better of Ramirez. He always seemed like someone who was genuinely willing to fight anyone. I thought he was the one who would make fights happen at Cruiserweight, and he has to an extent.
    Ugh...
