Could an angry Joseph "The New Zealand Mike Tyson" Parker be Wilder's kryptonite?

Wilder has KO'ed every fighter except one, and he dropped him twice. We know who that was. Joshua clearly isn't the harder puncher. Joshua doesn't have one punch KO power like Wilder. Most of his KO's came by TKO. Ref stepping in and stopping it. Wilders KO's come by knocked the **** out lol. Big difference!

 

Lol right so because Wilder knocked out a lot of bums it means he is a great fighter? Got ya. Wilder didn't stop a broken down Chris Arreola. He got a TKO. Wilder never knocked down Johann Duhaupus, With the exception of old man Luis Ortiz,, fat bum Dominic Breazeale and glass chin Artur Szpilka most of the people Wilder knocked down kept getting back up.

Like I typed before Wilder took 9 rounds and numerous knock downs to stop glass chin Eric Molina. Chris Arreola needed just 1 round to stop Molina and Joshua knocked his block off in a couple of rounds.

Glass chin Artur Szpilka walked though everything Wilder dished out smiling until he jumped into a punch. I always explained in this in another post how numerous people that Wilder knocked out were knocked out much quicker by other people. But whatever. There is no point in explaining this to people like you. If you are impressed by Wilder beating old men and tomato cans then good for you.

Parker doesn't have that killer instinct I think Wilder would smash him and the ref will be in Wilders pocket as he is the top dog atm

For raw punching power AJ is up there with Wilder. The difference is he simply doesnt put his whole body into the punches for safety reason.

 

Everyone has the ability to beat Wilder....its just that Wilder's finishing instincts are superior to most.....

I don't think Parker can get angry. In the gloves are off with Whyte, Whyte basically called him a ***** and Parker didn't really react.

 

First off, stop hating on the fact that Wilder is KO'ing everybody he's facing. We throw around the word bum too loosely here. How well a fighter takes a punch has absolutely nothing to do with their skills as a fighter, so ur argument is quite stupid and ridiculous. Talent and skills doesn't have **** to do with how well u take a punch. If Wilder lands that punch on any fighter in history, 9 out of 10 times, they going night night. So my whole point of what i was speaking on was his power is greater than Joshua. Now how many bums has Joshua faced and KO'ed?

 

Sorry for the post resurrection, this forum for some reason disabled my account when I was a regular here a few years ago when I'd not done anything wrong or got any warnings and I couldn't find a way to resolve that - someone sent a link to it and I decided to try logging in to see if anything has changed and it seems my account is viable again

There's a bit of a reason for this resurrection, on social media posts I've been met with a lot of flak for saying I wasn't shocked at Parker's performance against Wilder (the whole "Oh yeah sure you called this" line) - and now there's a narrative that Wilder was "done" at the time they fought. I do admit he's past his best now, but I reckon the Parker that beat Wilder would have beaten any version of Wilder and it does my head in that people are treating this win as not really counting... quoting my post from 6 years ago as evidence that this was imho always a stylistic match up that was going to surprise a lot of people, ESPECIALLY with the Andy Lee/George Lockhart version of Joe Parker.

The reality is that I think Wilder has always been a little overrated due to good match making, and Parker a bit underrated due to some bad decisions and poor performances from an early version of him.

 

Yeah I get where you are coming from, its funny seeing how quickly people flip from "Wilder is going to smash Parker" to "Wilder is old and never that good anyway" its like they actually rewrite their memories or something, but all the posts, comments, videos etc still exist and we can see how most we're saying Parker had no chance.
