    Allen fights like Homer Simpson. Out of shape, slow plodder who doesn’t throw a punch until the opponent is tired and even then it’s the same punch over and over again.

    It’s because he’s endearing tbf. I’ve been critical of Allen for half-assing his career and not living the lifestyle but you can’t help but have a soft spot for him, he seems a genuinely good man

    That’s why this fight was popular. We just wanted to see him win.

    So I guess the hope now is that Eddie can get Lenroy Thomas out of retirement to complete the trilogy — set up the rubber match with Bosh and keep the saga alive.

    He’s a working class man and a popular guy, always gonna have a good following. He should reward his popularity with some decent training ffs, doesn’t realise how lucky he is.

    Agreed Wardley has shown he has a decent chin. Allen had Makhmudov rocked and Wardley is a savage puncher. He knocks him spark out IMO, like out for the count and paramedics rushing in.

    Literally no other outcome, I’m disappointed with how bad he looked - I thought he’d be a bit more agile, Allen’s punches made Joyce look quick and Mac was still getting caught easily ffs.

    AJ KO's that guy in 2 rounds, every time Allen landed something he looked a big 1-2 away from going down, even AJ now would KO him easily
