    People (rightfully) trash Tanks resume and herald him as one of the worst careers relative to his talent in recent history.

    Boots makes Tanks resume look atg tier in comparison.

    Boots is all thats wrong with boxing in 2025.

    I agree with CST80…terrible list of opponents, almost Duane Bobick level. When Canelo turns 40, Boots can move up two divisions and fight him and become an ATG.

    Anything less than that outcome would have been a failure. That's how far Lima was out of his league. That's why it is a masterclass in the art of cherry picking. He hasn't put fear in any fighter at 154. He got real problems trying to consolidate there.

    This is all very sad. When Ennis was up and coming all the talk was about him going against Vergil Ortiz with the winner taking on either Errol Spence or Terence Crawford. I was legitimately really excited for those matchups. Since then Boots really hasn't come close to fighting someone at his level. There are still good fights for him such as Fundora and others but who knows if he'll fight any of them.
