I think Wardley might knock down Parker once at somepoint, but Parker will win via a clear and fair decision.

Wardley come from behind KO, and this has nothing to do with the Huni win.

I think a couple rounds of the guys feeling each other out, followed by Wardley coming on, having some success but gets discouraged by Parker's counters and feints.

Parker eventually walks him onto an uppercut, or something similar, ending in a Parker KO in the first six rounds.

I get similar vibes too. We know Wardley gets outboxed, but can Parker avoid Wardley's bombs for 12 rounds?

He did against Wilder, but lets face it, Wilder is completely shot.

Interested to see your perspective on this one as you quite often get it right.

Do you think it'll be close? Or is this more a nudge towards one fighter?

Exactly, it's one thing avoiding the bombs of a shot frail has been and a lumbering oaf with a 3 round gas tank and lead in his feet. But another thing altogether avoiding a prime fighter who is faster than they are, with solid timing.

Personally I feel like Parker is going to get this over before round 7. Andy Lee knows what he's doing

I wrote this below about a month ago. Although I think it'll be close up until the stoppage I'm predicting.

Eventually Wardley will drop Parker and hurt him very badly, but unlike Zhang, he isn't running on fumes from the 2nd round on. So he'll have more than enough in his tank to finish him off in brutal fashion. I really like Parker, but people really are starting to delude themselves. Wilder is decrepit, Zhang isn't hard to outbox and Bakole hopped off the couch and jumped into the ring out of shape and jetlagged. Parker isn't a pressure fighter like Huni, he's a backfoot counter puncher. Who'll give Wardley plenty of chances to catch him clean with his relatively quick hands. Parker isn't a new fighter, he's the same guy that struggled with Joyce and Chisora, It's simply a case of Wilder and Zhang's styles playing right into his hands. Speaking of Huni, he'd probably dominate Parker from bell to bell as well, and actually win. By no means am I saying this to overrate Wardley, I think Wardley is as average as average gets, but he has solid power, which he bails himself out with, kind of like Wilder. I think Parker is slightly improved from the Joyce match, but still fundamentally has most of the flaws he had then. Zhang has power, but as Forrest and Hrgovic shows, isn't that hard to outbox. Wilder, if you can't outbox him until he catches you, then you should hang em up. Most didn't think Wilder was as degraded as he was, and would eventually catch Parker. But clearly Wilder's power is also waning the older he gets, along with his confidence. So sure, I fully expect Parker to outbox Wardley for the vast majority of the match, until he eventually gets tagged.

All I can say to that is that I hope you get it wrong. Wardley vs Usyk would be very disappointing imo
