I feel Madrimov would be a decent step up fight for Ennis. Ennis has a few good fights at 154.

Stanionis was better than Madrimov. Madrimov shouldn’t have been in the ring when he fought Ortiz. He was recovering from bronchitis which is why he pulled out the Bohachuk fight. Madrimov didn’t pull out because he didn’t want to let “His Excellency” down again with 2 consecutive pull-outs and ruin an opportunity to fight on Riyadh Season again.

Yep I guarantee if the fight happens it will be during this time period as a calculated move from Boots team.

Nikita Tszyu is the only one out there with the balls to take him on. They should put that fight on in Australia. Nikita wouldn't win, but jeez, the fight would sell. If they want to turn Bakhram into a star, take him to where the fans want to see him.

Dangerous man indeed for Ennis to face but why not? He's got all the tools, I've thought for a long time that he was the next superstar, he needs to get cracking. This fight would help a lot, Murta is one tough dude, so Ennis may need to box more, showcase his skills, play a bit safer. Either way, it should happen.

It's actually not a bad idea as Nikita would have a crack but likely get KO'd but you are right it would sell big time down here.

I get the impression that Nikita is here for a good time not a long time. He would get one up on big brother if they put that fight on down here. The fight would out-draw & out-sell any of King Timmy's. I reckon they should go for it next year. I said Nikita wouldn't win but if an inactive Bakhram has an off night & the crowd goes ballistic, you never know. A Tszyu has never lost fighting in Australia.

Anything can happen in boxing and Nikita can punch he's also a southpaw. Nikita is a much better opponent than somebody like Lima who Ennis just fought. If none of the big boys wanna get in with Bakram then why not.

Yep have the fight in Queensland with fabulous Phil Austin as the referee. Force Bakhram to finish his camp at Glenn Rushton's gym maybe have Rushton in his corner. Hire Khodder Nasser as the time keeper incase we need to change things up mid fight. Pack the undercard with retired NRL players so the main event doesn't start until after midnight so Bakhram can't acclimatize properly. Also have Danny Green on commentary scoring every round for Nikita.

Honestly, I think Madrimov would beat Boots. His style would be horrible for him because Boots has been fed C-grade cannon fodder for his entire reign, which has made his defense leaky and deprived him of proper championship experience. Moving up from Lima to Madrimov or Bakhram is steep. So is moving up to fight Ortiz. I think he could beat all three of them, but it'd be the first time we would actually see him tested. The Madrimov that fought Crawford would beat Ennis.
