In this alternate world Frank challenges Tony for the WBA title instead of Tim Witherspoon.

Unfortunately I see the same result mate.
Similar fight, Frank does great until he tires in the latter rounds.
    Tubbs by late rounds KO.
Tubbs was another of those underrated 80 s guys, very tough but short prime.

I'm not so sure Fergy I think Tubbs's was a bit chinny IMO.

Witherspoon, Bonecrusher, were durable fighters I don't think Tubbs took a flush punch aswell as those 2.

Tubbs could very well outbox Bruno and win in the later rounds.

But Bruno could also catch him and spark him out as Tubbs isn't as durable as the 80s Heavyweights that Bruno lost to.

I always thought his chin was ok, not Ali like but good enough to get him through.
I know the Tyson fight only went 2 round but that was also a well out of shape Tubbs and took the money really.
But yes,if Frank could have landed well he'd stand more chance of beating Tubbs than Witherspoon ( his chin was definitely durable)

One of the bouts back then to envision Frank getting the title victory.

The bout most certainly take place in Wembley & does anyone consider Tubbs to be a road warrior? He would come in under prepared and heavier than usual. Maybe at 75% figuring it to be an easy night's work against a mechanical guy like Bruno. Maybe have 4 or 5 good rounds in him and then it's all downhill. RSC in about 8 rounds.
