Easy win for Itauma, few days before his 21st birthday. If we compare him to Tyson at the same age, Iron Mike has fought Berbick, Smith, Thomas, Ferguson, Tillis among others. All of the aforementioned were much better than any Itauma's opponent to date. Even Mitch Green and Jose Ribalta were better opponents than shot versions of Pulev and Whyte.

I do agree Ituama needs to be more active. He's not getting any rounds, barely being hit in his fights. Zero reason why he can't fight every couple of months at this point. Whyte was such a waste of a camp. Should have booked him a fight with literally anyone willing on the next DAZN fight night card, not wasted that camp. He could fought the next week.

They should have paid big money to get Wilder. Destroying Wilder on the world stage would have given him a big boost, and would be part of his hype reel for the rest of his career.

The Pulev fight could be worse but its still a pretty bad fight for such a highly rated prospect. The outcome is already known, probably offers zero development for Moses, doesnt add to his hype, and doesnt really advance him in any way whatsoever.

Then again, might not be a lot of options for Moses behind the scenes. Im sure theres not a lot of fighters eager to get in the ring with him.

On track to be the biggest hype fraud.
Pulev was done when AJ fought him years ago.
Maybe they can give 'Kingpin' a call. He was also done when AJ fought him.
Then when Zhang KO's Chisora, maybe it will be time for the Chisora fight.

Pulev too old and too powerless to resist Itauma's early onslaughts...

Hrgovic turned down the fight, Chisora turned down 2 million, and Jermaine Franklin wasn't interested. Itauma carries a huge risk, a career-ending beatdown, and is being actively avoided. Fair play to Pulev for stepping up, but it's a horrible fight that will end brutally. Parker offering to fight Itauma is probably the best outcome from here, especially if Joe blows Wardley away. It'd be too early for Itauma, I think, but it'd be an excellent win if he pulled it off, and it's a great matchup.

How is pulev stepping up? It’s just the wba ordering him to defend his worthless belt against Itauma . Unless he get well paid, he might not even take the fight

Itauma is reminding me a lot of Gerry Cooney. Swings wild, big power, no d, and ko's old men. Actually Cooneys best wins were far less shot.

Exactly. I don’t think it’ll happen. Pulev will ask for too much money, it so go to purse bids, Pulev will drop the ‘belt’.

You have misunderstood what I meant here mate. I mean "fair play to him for stepping up" as in he's the only one who is actually going to get into the ring with him, so fair play to him for doing it. I thought that the fight had been signed. But I've just read this morning that Pulev is fighting Gasiev now, so obviously he didn't fancy getting annihilated either. Tough one for Moses.

I'm not mad at them taking there time with moses but christ can we put this man in with someone with a pulse already?

are they scared he'll gas after 4 rounds? glass chin? no heart when its not going his way? i get it a bunch of easy early round KO's help get the eye of the casual but it doesn't help develope him as a fighter.
