Teofimo Lopez vs Devin Haney Crawford vs Ennis Inoue vs Nick Ball Beterbiev vs Benavidez Bivol vs Benavidez Ennis vs Murtazaliev ( if Murtazaliev got his profile raised beforehand and they built up to it)
I don't know about comercially, nor is it a path I want to explore because you have so many dumb people out there with more money than sense that'd pay to watch a misfits show. Ryan Garcia, Jake Paul, Andrew Tate etc, these are the guys that'll probably do the million + buys. From a boxing fan's perspective there are many fights I'd still like to see be made in the next 12-18 months (although some involve moving weight classes). Still wanna see Tank Shakur. Wanna see Benavidez Bivol, Beterbiev Opetaia, Ball Inoue, Parker Usyk, Sheeraz Canelo and Boots Vergil.
Usyk Vs Fury 3 Fury Vs AJ Jake Paul Vs Tommy Fury 2 Hughie Fury Vs Ituama 2 after Hughie wins their first bout
That's a lot of pay per view buys. I don't know if anyone can reach that. Maybe Tyson vs Paul could have if it was PPV. Fury vs AJ is the only one I'm thinking of. Problem is I can never figure out what numbers to trust when it comes to PPV buys these days.
For Canelo you have to somehow count in the beer money as well. The beer companies basically do the PPV buy for the entire country of Mexico, I believe, and sponsor his fights to be on standard network broadcasts.
It’s a good fight to be sure but I don’t know if it’s really a mega fight as Parker doesn’t have too much popularity internationally. But he’s very deserving.
I'd like to see: Kabayel-Usyk Parker-Usyk Wilder-Joshua Dubois-Parker Dubois-Wardley Dubois-Itauma Parker-Joshua II Chisora-Zhang Bakole-Itauma Torrez-Anderson Itauma-Anderson Hrgovic-Chisora Hrgovic-Dubois II (with an honest ref who stops Dubois from head butting) Hrgovic-Joshua Hrgovic-Parker Ortiz-Zhang (senior HW title) Joyce-Makhmudov Vianello-Anderson Kabayel-Parker Jalolov-Vianello Jalolov-Torrez Jalolov-Anderson There are many, many interesting HW matchups that could be made, if promoters and their boxers were willing. I've been wanting to see that fight for years. But it seems Tyson "Belly" Fury is terrified of Joshua, even though AJ is past his best and was brutally KOed last year. The fight will never happen.
