Wardley can't box, that's a fact, he should be a little more versatile if he intends to beat Parker, Parker is experienced enough to adapt to his style and he's big enough with good power, so I think he'll put Wardley on the ropes and possibly knock him out...

I recently rewatched Clarke vs Wardley 1 and Wardley vs Huni and I think a few times that Wardley was actually hurt a bit, at least his legs stiffened and looked momentarily shocked. But he has a good poker face and he covers it well while coming out swinging that his opponents and the commentary don't really notice.

Wardley is especially dangerous when he is hurt because he will just throw power shots and go down swinging.

Clarke also doesn't know how to box, in the second fight Wardley caught him with those punches and Clarke couldn't handle it, Parker won't have any problems and won't get himself into that situation...

Yeah Clarke was having a lot of success when he actually boxed, out jabbing and he couldn't miss with that upper cut. But he seemed to get overwhelmed very easily when Wardley started throwing heavy punches, he would back up and lose shape easily.

Parker can keep his composure even under fire. People point to the Joyce fight as an example of how to beat Parker, but I'm not sure there is another heavyweight out there who can throw 95+ heavy handed punches a round like Joyce was doing in the second half of that fight, where he really took over. And even then Parker kept his shape decently well.

You're right that Wardley starts punching when hurt.

Let's hope Parker is aware of it. Very likely he is.

One sided victory for JoeP coming up. I will take it on the chin, pun intended, if I am wrong, but I dont see Wardley winning a round...

Parker just ran the big puncher gauntlet of Wilder, Zhang, Bakole. Only makes sense Wardley will be next.

That said... Bakole was starting to hurt Parker. If Bakole had actually had a training camp...

Parker should win. But that doesn't mean he will. He can be hurt and Wardley hits hard. Wouldn't be shocked if there's another situation similar to Huni. Parker would be wise to box and not getting into any unnecessary exchanges. That's what makes this such a compelling fight. Parker has most of the advantages and should but Wardleys power and toughness makes it hard to fully doubt his chances.

The only part of Parker Bakolie might have hurt is his right hand on Bakole's head.

I am now super-excited about this! Winner gets Usyk.

I like Wardley, but this is Parker's time to shine!

    Usyk-Parker next!

Provided Parker wins, it is going to look like a king size duck if Usyk doesn't fight him.

I'm pretty sure Parker got this.
