Well , the undercard is as bad as it was at usyk-dubois2 , at least the main event with parker-wardley is better than watching how dubois is coming off a party and quitting asap to get home quickly .

Dubois didn't quit, he was KOed.

It was rather dumb of him to have a party the day of the fight, though.

This is the worst PPV line up I've seen in a very, very long time

Can you not get DAZN? In the US, it's all on DAZN, and DAZN absolutely gives some free cards with real fights on them. They also have tons of random free cards without big names, BKFC events, etc.

We were one of the last to get DAZN and one of the first to get put back on PPV. As far as I can remember only one or two of Parker's fights have been free to air in NZ, everything else was on PPV.

Even fights like Ruiz vs Joshua II was PPV in NZ where as I believe it was free in most places outside the UK, or Parker vs Django which was PPV in NZ but part of DAZN everywhere else.

Man, y'all are getting the short end of the stick there.

Of the places I have any knowledge of, Mexico has it the best. Big fights that are PPV elsewhere are often on standard broadcast TV in Mexico, especially if it's a Mexican (or Mexican-American) at the top of the card.

Tell me about it, i was quite surprised when I started coming online to read people's opinions about boxing and discovered that PPV wasn't the standard, and that people expected free shows.

I wonder how much money there actually is in the ppv market in NZ, I can't imagine its much.

Apparently the beer companies help sponsor boxing in Mexico which makes a lot of sense.

If the main event is over within 5 rounds, as I think it will be, then we’d be paying £5 per round, given the shite undercard.

    I may have to rethink.

You've got a potential future HW champ in Parker. Is he gaining a bigger following there? I'm American. We don't have anyone at HW who could touch Parker. 115, 135, 154, 168... send in your man; good luck. HW? We ain't got ****. I think Jerrell Miller is the best we have.. which, lol.

I'm not in NZ anymore, but before I left he wasn't that popular. NZ is weird in that we like to pull down anyone who gets "too big for their boots" so most my colleagues, even Samoan ones actually didn't support Parker.

And don't even get me started on people like Israel Adesanya or Liam Lawson, its like Kiwis just can't wait to see them fail. If someone's want to succeed from NZ they need to be excessively humble.

It'd be cool if Parker regains the titles that boxing has some growth in NZ, because there is a lot of potential talent there.
