While i agree that he should not be judged if he loses in the next couple of years, no one is forcing him to fight. He has generational wealth. He has more than enough to retire on. Many people have advised him to retire and he has rejected this advice. If he goes on and on, it will be hard to blame anyone else.

Personally, i think he is an ATG even if he never wins another fight. But we can't blame anyone else if he refuses to hang it up.

What do you mean? Didn't you read the Ring magazine article?

Coppinger said 'Lapin said "Usyk said '"I'm possibly, maybe, definitely, targeting the Parker v Wardley winner"'"'.

I mean you can't get any clearer than that. You can take that to the bank

Usyk isn't a stiff stationary target with slow feet. He'd box Kabayels head off. Fight will be one sided as hell if it comes off. People are going to be disappointed.

That would be an impressive run to finish his career off,but I’ve always said that Kabayel out of all the contenders in the chasing pack is the biggest threat to Usyk. Kabayel for me has the style and smarts to possibly dethrone Usyk in what would be a great fight,as well as the fact by the time the fight comes around Usyk would be considerably older than he already is .

Thats my thinking, Usyk would have to have a bum knee like Sanchez did to make this match up competitive.

I don't think anyone currently active beats Usyk. Fury has the best chance and he failed on two occasions. The only thing that can beat him at this stage is father time. I don't think Parker/Wardley winner is particularly competitive either.

That Fury has finally been kicked to the curb is great news, whether he'll fight the winner of Parker Wardley,,we'll see.

Boxers should unite and start something to help Fury because of his mental illness...

Wardley is a good guy but his path to the title ends with this fight against Parker, he simply doesn't have what it takes to be a champion...

I love Agit, we originate from the neighboring districts and have followed him since day one but you're right, he's being overrated right now. All this talk of him being "favourite" over Usyk is ridicuolus.

Still though, he's come a long, long way from the kid who needed every benefit of the doubt from judges to get past Oloukun.

Good Fury does not come close to deserving another shot at Usyk he's had 2 attempts and hasn't actually beaten an actual boxer since 2022.

Parker/Wardley winner is the only fight that makes sense.

Although I'm hoping Parker beats Wardley as I don't want to see Usyk fighting another British Heavyweight. And I don't think a basic come forward power puncher with no defence has anything to offer against Usyk.

If Parker wins he would've beaten his 4th top 10 rated Heavyweight in a row which is quite impressive and I think Parker adds more to Usyk's resume.

Plus Parker is atleast a different stylistic challenge and a more challenging opponent than Wardley would be.

I'm not saying anyone but he is to blame I just think it's a bad idea. He believes he still has what it takes to remain undefeated or keep winning which is the same old story with a million other fighters and many of them were much or younger than he is now when they made that mistake or their styles were not ones whose success relied on speed, reflexes, reaction times, agility and their legs. He's campaigning in a division full of much or way bigger men many of whom can punch holes in castle walls and everyone he will be fighting will be younger or much younger than him and likely in their backyards or on the road.

Father Time's record vs HWs in their mid to late 30s and 40s in world title fights is exceptional and unparalleled but what is it like vs ones who are routinely giving away the kind of physical advantages Usyk is fighting much bigger and younger natural HWs and savage or huge punchers in their backyards or on the road?

How many greats in their late 30s/40s were routinely fighting in their opponent's backyards or on the road, let alone vs much or way bigger and younger massive or big punchers?

He says boxing is like an addiction but he has achieved everything there is to achieve and has clocked boxing amateur and pro and he's earned more money than he could ever spend.

He is but like I said if he takes a loss it will be held against him more than any fighter in history even though he's already the oldest undisputed HW champion ever, the 2nd oldest unified HW one, and soon to be the 4th oldest HW champ ever and the 3 above him were all 240-250+ giants with extremely high KO% and one of them retired for a decade and all of them were regularly fighting soft or very soft touches in between facing the top guys.

And we had 2 kings not 1 throughout the reigns of 2 of them

So many are so desperate to see him lose and, like I said, the fact they feel that way about a fighter as honourable, fearless, respectful, humble, and classy as him who has given them zero ammunition to feel that way and who literally embodies everything right, great and noble about the sport and has routinely sought out the best on a deck stacked against him or at worst on an even one and has never ducked anyone, certain styles or punchers speaks volumes about them as fans and just human beings in general

I thought Usyk was scared of Parker and ducking him, lol.
