A solid match up that could have happened in the 90s but sadly never went through. Any thoughts on how this would have gone down?

I'd fancy Lopez to stop Carr late on after Carr builds up an early lead.

I've definitely got Lopez in this one. The Lopez that fought Quartey was a real handful.

Another vote for Lopez, who would sleepwalk through the first six rounds, then turn up the heat and take out Carr in 8 or 9. Afterward, he would disappear in a cloud of bongsmoke to Puerto Escondido only to re-emerge a weight class or two higher when the surf and weed funds ran low.

If Lopez was stoned out his mind and under-trained (a legit possibility); Carr could pull out a decision.

If Lopez was on his A-game, like he was for Campas and Aaron Davis, Carr gets stopped.

Like everyone else's thoughts. Carr builds an early lead, but Lopez stops him later on.

This has the makings of those typical Lopez bouts. you know---the one's where you are talking to the tv telling him to just let his hands go? But he ends up sleepwalking his way to a decision loss in a bout he could have and should have won.

Oba was a tough Welterweight. A little undersized for the division. At least it seemed that way against DelaHoya, Quartey and Trinidad.
He gave a good account of himself and he would vs Lopez as well...right up to the point he gets knocked out.
