    50/50 fight my brain says Wlad my heart says Usyk. I'll go with Usyk cause I like him more.

    Ill take Usyk.

    I think Wlad might win the early rounds, but I think Usyk starts taking over as he begins to get Wlad guaged in, and Usyks power and increasing accuracy begin to make Wlad unravel.

    I think Usyks footwork and constant feints, combined with the threat of his power, would actually be a bit of a nightmare for Wlad.

    I think Wlad can become a bit low output when his opponent isnt presenting a good target, combine that with the threat of counters by shots that can genuinely hurt him, and I think Wlads output would be pretty low this fight and he would lose rounds to an Usyks whose bossing him.

    I think all of it would be too much for Wlad under normal circumstances, but add the fact that Usyks a southpaw, and Wlads in for a rough night, imo.

    I could write screeds on this but I won't.

    Short answer is that I lean Wlad, slightly, but with not too much conviction.

    Wlad's whole schtick was controlling the smaller guys with range and jab. His feet were exceptional at the back and forth movement, which is what controls whether you engage or not, and when. Usyk is better at the circular lateral movements, which negate the opponent's offense and set up your own, creating angles on him. BUT this movement can crucially be negated by the other guy stepping back fast, which is what Wlad did.

    Secondly, some of the greatest success enjoyed by big guys like Fury was in the spots where they fought like Wlad: ie they stepped back and forced Usyk to close the distance and to lunge in. Usyk got painted a few times in that scenario. It kind of underlines the basic tactical advantage Wlad has.

    That all said, I think Usyk is by far the better natural fighter, more creative, more dogged, better stamina, better chin etc. P4P I think he is flat out better. There are rumours that an ageing Wlad got given all he could handle by Usyk in sparring, which also underlines how much of a live dog the chameleon Usyk is in this one.

    Usyk by unanimous decision
    The speed , movement,angles and relentless pace of Usyk would be too much for the more robotic Klitschko s style.
    Klitschko s clinching would frustrate Usyk but he had the ability to maintain high output and get him self a close but unanimous decision.

    My main issue with this is, thats how Fury fought majority of the rounds against Usyk. And if anything, a lot of Furys successes came when using his size, coming forward ripping body shots, in a way Wlad doesnt really do.

    But when fighting backing up using his jab, Fury had some success here and there sure, but he still lost majority of the rounds while fighting this way. It wasnt a window into a tactical edge.

    Also, Fury uses the ring better than Wlad while on the back foot with better footwork, is magnitudes more comfortable under fire, and has better stamina to top it off. That allowed Fury to both keep Usyk off of him better than Wlad would be able to do, do so later in the fight, and survive when he did find himself severely hurt.

    Wlads straight line movements while pawing with jabs and waiting on a right hand to find a target is absolutely not a tactical advantage against a non stop moving, feinting, high pace, angling southpaw like Usyk.

    People look at this matchup and see Wlad as the predator in there and Usyk as the one that has to survive, but after about round 4, Usyk would show hes actually the one doing the hunting against Wlad.
