Has anyone else had this offer? I just logged in and haven’t got it — and I’ve bought every PPV since taking up that £83.89 discounted 12-month sub. Just cancelled it now. Guess they think I’m the schmuck punter who’ll keep paying full price. DAZN’s loss will be someone else’s opportunity cost… or however the economists say ‘you’ve just mugged off your loyal customers.’

I know it’s only a fiver, but they’re ****ing taking the **** here.

No special offer for me mate. It would need to be pretty bloody special for me to be tempted though!

None here either. They’d be wasting their time anyway. Not confident, I’ll find a bar showing it, as that was the case for the Moses-Whyte fiasco. Will check, anyway. Otherwise, YouTube !

I'm cancelled with them now and no offer for me either. I expect Parker vs Wardley to be a good fight and I was going to order the Benavidez vs Yarde card next month, but I've had enough now with all these extra PPV prices.

Nope. I’ll check an hour before the fight.
This shouldn’t be ppv at all but if it was £10-15 I wouldn’t think twice about it. £25 for this is a p1ss take.

The old classic, the “homecoming” show. Definite weak opponent lined up.

There's an email i got that has Frank explaining that Parker Wardley is must see and if you buy it you get Benn Eubank with 20% off.

I now avoid the results and then post fight, search YouTube for either the full fight or the highlights.

DAZN will kill Boxing off. The mere casual isn't going to pay for it and when genuine fans, as per this website as one example, are collectively saying "Enough is enough", then alarm bells should start ringing... but they won't. Fighters fighting to practically no viewers. How can they build a fanbase if nobody is watching?

Makes me wonder if Ben Shalom has seen and jumped ahead of the oncoming curve with the terrestrial BBC deal...

Also, a fiver off? Are there really that many people on the fence about buying it at £25 but will jump at it for £20? ‘Do me a favour’ Frank and knock it down to a tenner, that’ll make a difference.

Or better yet, just don’t make any fight slightly above British-title level a PPV.

An already-niche sport has become virtually inaccessible for the casual fan who doesn’t want to sign themselves up for a monthly subscription they can’t cancel for 12 months.

At least when paying for sports such as football, cricket, darts, F1 etc you know there’s a set fixture list, whereas boxing you don’t know what fights there’ll be or what will end up on PPV etc.

I'm a bit gutted to be missing the Parker v Wardley fight as I like both guys and think it'll be an interesting fight but they've crossed the line charging £25 on top of a subscription, especially when you consider the undercard.

Had a look at the undercard — highlight is Mitchell Smith coming back, and that’s purely for nostalgia reasons. The rest, I can honestly say I’ve never seen fight, even the British title bout. £25 PPV and ticket sales look poor; plenty still available in every section. I could probably just roll up on Saturday and get in for the same price as the PPV. Touts and the secondary market must be getting crippled here.

Can’t see this booking a profit — PPV sales are going to be horrendous. Should’ve stuck with Wardley and Ipswich, or at least built a better undercard. Even a cross-promotion, using last week’s NextGen show as the undercard, would’ve made this actually marketable and somewhat sellable.

With the vast experience of the Warren clan, how can they be so tone deaf in this instance!
It’s an intriguing fight, but compare the bill to those Saudi extravaganza’ s last year for £20!
It’s not only here there’s complaints. American podcast presenters are all complaining, and they’re paying at least, if not more, than £25.
