Gennadiy Golovkin announces plan to become President of World Boxing

In terms of boxing experience, there are few men more qualified than him. Golovkin has done it all and seen it all, both in the amateur and professional rings. He is the perfect man for the job.

 

He's hulking out of that suit. I'd like to see him do a James Toney and take on some heavies.

 

I am a big fan of his, but is this realistic? Would be a great step directly from being an athlete with probably no experience in boxing politics? Does he have the connections i imagine he has to have?

Imagine someone not knowing this man and stealing his parking space? And when Golovkin asks for the spot, they guy replies go **** yourself. Next thing the guy is waking up with a sore jaw and a headache from hell. G is so unassuming.

 

Gennady 'The President' Golovkin is gonna **** up those corrupt mofos. Big drama show. Vote GGG now!

 

He has suffered first hand experience of corruption so he knows what he is up against.

 

Under GGG's studious leadership hopefully runners, featherfists and china chins will be appropriately penalised.

In all seriousness GGG loves the sport as much as anyone, and during his career he was always a paragon of fairness. He would be excellent in the role so best of luck to him.

Just saw the news and came to the forum to check what is the mood. Indeed, he seems like a great person, I really hope money and corruption don't blur his mind, as boxing for hardcore fans is in crisis. There is so much room for improvement.
