    Just before the last barrage, Parker glanced at the ref after taking a big shot before backing into the ropes. I’m pretty sure the ref was concerned about the acclimative punishment.
    It’s a fair stoppage IMO.

    Yes. I really like Parker and wanted for him to get that shot, but the notion of Usyk running from him is just laughable.

    Wardley will probably last longer than Dubois, but he will be outclassed. Huni would be a much more competitive match-up, I think. As would of course Kabayel.

    This. The referee made the right decision. Parker wasn't fighting back, so why let Parker keep taking unnecessary damage.

    Well, he likely keeps getting jobs because of his criminal stoppages, not in spite of them.

    Boxing establishment and officiating is, at its core, corrupt.

    I feel bad for Parker, as he's obviously a top bloke and that stoppage seemed a bit premature, but, Jesus, what a story! Got to love Wardley. Imagine if he clips Usyk... it will be the greatest story in boxing history!

    He threw two shots back immediately after he got clipped and then took a sustained barrage of punches on the ropes for around 20 seconds.

    You can literally just go and watch it back. It’s not really a debate.

    Kabayel is a more skilled fighter than Parker and would crush Wardley, Kabayel is a Huni with far more power...

    Howard Foster is a notoriously corrupt ref and he has a history of highly controversial stoppages like this favouring the Brit or the A side but they keep giving these corrupt refs and judges the gig
