OK, I'll eat my humble pie, great fight but...
****in joke stoppage. I'm not usually so forthright but c'mon. That was bollocks.

Yup likewise. Atrocious stoppage but there's no denying that chin and power now.

You know what? Having watched that a few times, Joe moved back against the ropes and he looked like a beaten man. He MIGHT habe thrown back...but he DIDN'T. Game over. Fair play to Wardley. Wow.

    I eat my humble pie

    And own this loss

But I truly think - nearing age 34 - Parker might actually consider retirement here

I still thought it was stupid for Parker to come in heavy. He slowed down and gave Wardley the chance he needed. He was also trying to go for the KO when he should have just boxed and cruise the last 3 rnds.

As I see it he should have either walked him down like he did Wilder, or came in lighter and boxed from the outside.

I'm a brit and I love the Wardley story and the excitement he brings to every fight, so loved seeing him win. But you'd have to be a real d1ck to take any pleasure in seeing Joe Parker lose. He's a top bloke and someone who will (and has) get in with anyone.
