Do you think Parker should still get his shot against Usyk?

I think that he should, let's be real, both him and Wardley have no chance against Usyk, but Parker was so close to fighting him and didn't because Usyk wanted prolonged rest (understandable)

Even though Usyk can handily beat both of them I think Parker has the advantage over Wardley, I genuinely think that there's nothing Wardly can to that will even remotely problem Usyk

Parker also broke the modern sports stereotype, nowadays 1 loss = washed, finished, should retire
On the contrary of that, Parker has been getting better and better slowly but surely

Parker should thank his lucky stars that he got "his shot" against Ruiz in NZ for a vacant belt in 2016.

Assuming that Usyk does have 5 fights left, then I'd say Parker should absolutely be one of those 5 still. Kabayel, Wardley, Parker and then ideally maybe fights against some lesser top 10 guys like Hrgovic and Zhang, but realistically it will probably be either gimmick fights or final big paydays against Fury / Joshua again.

Parker should just keep collecting opponents to add to his great resume.

    - Dubois
    - Hrgovic
    - Itauma
    - Huni

Keep building what will be the best Resume of his generation. Forget the belts, thats not in his future, the thing he has going for him is hes respected be every single fight fan for facing the best, add the 4 names ive mentioned above to his resume across the next 18 months.

Bowing out with this kind of resume is something we dont see in modern day boxing, especially at heavyweight.

No, Parker has blown it, getting stopped that way by a crude, inexperienced fighter. He shouldn't have taken the fight in the first place. It was an insane risk. Kabayel is the one Usyk should be fighting, but we know it's gonna be Bricktop who dictates who he fights next.

I have no issue with Parker still getting a shot at Usyk, however it should be after Wardley.

After Wardleys performance last night he is definitely box office for excitement, that sells PPV etc, so i would suggest the money men will want Wardley at front of the queue.

The money men have seen mega mega money bouts lost at heavyweight because of stalling etc.

No . As much as i like him , Parker definitely threw away his shot yesterday. Sad but true .

He needs to rebuild on a lower class

Sadly, at this time, no. Wardley gets the shot in the Garden. Parker coulda been a contender....but he's not a bum.

As fans of the sport, we should want more fighters taking on risky fights.
We fans should not be accepting greedy promoter logic of careful matchmaking, ducking, and "letting fights marinate".

I say let Parker get that title shot that he already earned. If he wins, Wardely should be first in line.

Yes, it doesn't matter he just got stopped by another fighter. Just like in Povetkin v Whyte, they should do it again so Parker can win and get the Usyk fight.
    LOL.
Imagine Fury got KO'd by Wardley then said he should still fight Usyk next because he took a risky fight and should be rewarded for it.
Seriously, imagine the reaction to that.
The cult of Parker is even more insane than the cult of Whyte a few years ago.

This is a hard setback, but if he still wants it I think he can get a shot if he strings together some more quality wins.

I think Parker should call out Dubois, he’s the one who really screwed Parker out of his shot and that angle can be used to sell the fight. DD is also still a solid top 10 fighter, so taking him out would put Parker back in the title picture.

Why do you assume that Usyk has 5 fights left

Id think more likely 1 or 2

Agit Kabayel was always the biggest threat to Usyk. Even before last night.

I'm not too big on letting fighters fight for the title coming off a loss but it's not unprecedented. George Foreman made history and many people rate his great standing on beating Michael Moorer, and forget that he got that fight coming off a loss to Tommy Morrison of all people. Parker is the more accomplished fighter, I think it will be Wardley getting the bout but honestly I think Parker has the better chance vs Usyk
