It all depends if Wardley can crack Joyce's chin. Joyce has a good chin but Zhang showed that Joyce's chin can be cracked against a certain level of power puncher. If Wardley can't crack Joyce's chin then he's trouble as Wardley likes to take breaks and Joyce wouldn't let him.
An absolute savage, barn burner of a fight. If that isn't Fight of the Year, I'll eat my hat, and my head, too.
Joyce couldn't see Zhang's left hand or right hook due to southpaw angle. I don't think he would have the same issue with the orthodox fighter. As long as Joyce can see Wardley's right hand, he can anticipate where the punches are coming from and brace himself for the impact.
Joyce has worse defense than Wardley. So like the other poster said, it all depends if Wardley can hurt him. If you can hurt Joyce, you beat him. It's that simple. The guy has no defense at all.
I had Joyce winning this one before Wardley beat Parker, I'd have to think about this one now. Wardley isn't as effective on the backfoot as he is on the frontfoot especially when against ropes when he is super dangerous.
