Do you think Parker should still get his shot against Usyk?

I believe either an interview with him or his trainer recently came out saying he had 5 fights left and wanted to fight till 41. Who knows how serious they might've been about it.

 

I mean Parker is obviously behind Wardley now currently in the rankings...

 

Parker was never going to be a threat to Usyk and the Kiwis were the only ones that actually wanted to see that fight. Everyone else just had it up next on fairness terms because Parker was the mando. Now we've been proven right and Parker is shuffled to the back of the queue.

Wardley, Kabayel, and then Itauma if he proves himself.

 

I disagree, Parker can't keep agreeing to final eliminators just on the basis that he wins them all. What good is the win for Wardley if Parker still gets a shot? He should've sat back and waited for his shot or took an easier keep-busy tune up. Wardley is a dangerous fight and Warren doesn't need a second invitation to leverage one of his prized assets miles above his skillset, he done it with Dubois, now he's doing it with Wardley.

 

Nope, he blew it. Showed the world that he never had a legit chance against Usyk. He can fight fringe contenders from here on out until he and his dumbass team (including Fury, the big brother) figures out his natural boxing style and weight.

 

He may still get his shot before Usyk retires.
I would like to see a Trans Tasman clash between Parker and Huni next.
It would be a big fight in either Australia or NZ.

Got dropped twice against a 43 year old Zhang and scraped a MD.

Wilder who was semi retired and hadn't won a fight of note for years and imo was never good.

Bakole on 2 days notice.

Guys over hyped him because his a nice guy.

 

Usyk should probably retire and retain the mystique of possible GOAT.

All the fights out there for him are becoming increasingly lower reward by the day.

There isn't a single guy in the division who if he beat convincingly would make anyone say "wow, great win".

 

No, Parker won't get a shot at Usyk now. That possibility went down the drain when Spin Doctor Foster called a halt against Wardley.

Credit to Parker for taking on a dangerous opponent in Wardley but the cost of that decision is going to be huge. Should have taking somebody easier and the Usyk fight was his.
